I started personal training with Adam on the 24th December. A rather strange date, one might think, but I thought I’d start my New Year Resolution early to get fit and keep fit. I have completed 13 PT seasons now. I joined Adam’s beginners Running club in late January and have completed a 10 k run in 1 hour and 18 mins in April. I have always enjoyed swimming and more recently Pilates as a result of having a great motivator. Adam is hugely supportive and an expert trainer who has encouraged me to enjoy my training without pressure. I have extended my interests to balance different types of fitness that focuses on toning, strength and keeping active. Adam is a marvellous coach who can plan a personalised programme that will eventually have you running marathons. It’s great fun, so give it a go.
I was a complete beginner to running when I started with Adam in November 2015. It’s now June 2016 and I’m just about to do my second half marathon! Adam has giving me confidence and was there to spur me on during the cold winter months. We now do one session in the gym every week, too – building upper body strength. Couldn’t do it without The Coach!
I would like to thank you for making my 10 weeks with you an enjoyable experience. I am not naturally attracted to exercise or the gym! However, for medical reasons I came to you in order to lower my cholesterol and become a bit fitter.
In March, when I started with you my cholesterol was 6.2. Now, in June its down to 5.2 and my GP is very pleased.
I certainly would not have done this without you. Not only the exercise but also your guidance re diet.
As your tests have proved, my general fitness and cardio tolerance have improved too.
I would not hesitate to recommend you.
I have severe arthritis in my right knee and was told that I would not be able to run again and would eventually need a knee replacement.
On the advice of a friend I joined a local gym, looked for a personal trainer and found Adam.
Adam is very professional and has a genuine interest in people, their fitness levels and general well being.
After following an exercise plan devised by Adam and including his patience and general good humour, I have improved my fitness levels and strengthened the muscles surrounding my knees.
I have now completed 5k, 10k and ran/walked a half marathon. Great feeling.

Adam is a wonderful trainer. He is patient, gently pushes and listens. He tailors your exercises to fit around your lifestyle. He has a great sense of humour and keeps training fun. Totally recommend whether you want to lose weight, maintain flexibility or increase core strength.

I cant thank Adam enough for his support and encouragement over the past 6 months. Yesterday I completed my first ever 5k Mud run which considering I never ran for a bus was pretty phenomenal. Adam has what i feel is quite a unique approach he is somewhat the fitness equivalent of a a horse whisperer. I remember telling him that I didn’t do running then without prompting found myself on the seafront one morning doing just that. I have always struggled with my weight and found gyms and exercise terrifying, however through his support and encouragement I not only exercise regularly but look-forward to it and enjoy it. There have been times when things haven’t gone so well and his ability to listen understand and guide has been truly amazing and very much appreciated and of course his sense of humour. Be careful of the twitch in the eye and the sentence that begins just do there is always a surprise in store. I would put here how much weight I have lost but I cant remember and that is the thing I am most grateful for I no longer obsess about the scales (I binned them) Adam made me see that it is about health not just weight and lifelong changes for the first time in my life I feel totally in control of my weight but in addition I am more confident sleep better and am less stressed. There is only one reason not to book a session and that is if you don’t want to change.
